Hubungan Antara Trait Mindfulness dengan Loneliness Pada Pekerja Usia Emerging Adulthood yang Merantau

Abstract


Masa emerging adulthood dipenuhi dengan transisi termasuk merantau untuk bekerja sehingga rentan untuk mengalami kesepian. Individu perlu memiliki strategi untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif dari kesepian salah satunya adalah dengan memiliki trait mindfulness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara trait mindfulness dengan loneliness pada pekerja usia emerging adulthood yang merantau. Sebanyak 201 orang usia 18-29 tahun yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini melalui teknik accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala multidimensi Five-Facets of Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) milik Baer, Smith, Hopkins, Krietemeyer dan Toney (2006) yang diadaptasi ke bahasa Indonesia oleh Meindy dkk. (2022) dan The University of California, Los Angeles Loneliness Scale Version 3 (UCLA) oleh Russell (1996). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trait mindfulness memiliki hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan dengan nilai r = 0,310 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0, 001 (p < 0,05). Dari hasil uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi trait mindfulness pada individu, semakin rendah kecenderungan untuk mengalami kesepian.
