Hubungan Antara Locus of Control dengan Resiliensi pada Mahasiswa Penyandang Disabilitas
Abstract
Resiliensi merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas agar dapat bertahan dari tekanan atau masalah yang terjadi pada dirinya maupun situasi sekitar. Peran locus of control sangat dibutuhkan, baik secara internal maupun eksternal agar dapat mengetahui sumber dari kejadian yang dialami dalam hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional bivariate cross-sectional. Partisipan berjumlah 73 mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Levenson IPC Scale (α = 0,953) dan The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (α = 0,965). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara internal locus of control dengan resiliensi (r = 0,465; p<0,01). Penelitian juga menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara external locus of control dengan resiliensi (r = 0,528; p<0,01). Semakin meningkat maupun menurunnya internal locus of control dan external locus of control, maka akan diikuti oleh meningkat ataupun menurunnya resiliensi yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas.
