Pelatihan Empati Melalui Experiential Learning untuk Menurunkan Perilaku Cyberbullying pada Remaja Asfi Manzilah Putri

Abstract


Perkembangan teknologi dan jejaring sosial memunculkan bentuk agresi baru yang disebut dengan cyberbullying. Cyberbullying merupakan masalah serius yang memerlukan penanganan yang tepat. Pelatihan empati melalui metode experiential learning merupakan cara yang dapat membantu dalam menangani kasus cyberbullying yang kini sedang marak terjadi, khususnya pada remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan empati dalam menurunkan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja. Penelitian quasi-eksperimen dilakukan dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang yang merupakan siswa SMA dan SMK berusia 15-17 tahun yang memiliki tingkat cyberbullying tinggi hingga sedang serta tingkat empati yang sedang hingga rendah. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini dialokasikan ke dalam dua kelompok, yakni kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Empati partisipan diukur menggunakan Basic Empathy Scale (BES), sedangkan cyberbullying diukur menggunakan Cyberbullying Questionnaire (CBQ). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji non parametrik yang menunjukkan bahwasannya pelatihan empati menggunakan experiential learning dapat menurunkan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja.
