Pelatihan Pelatih (Training of Trainers) Konselor Sebaya Untuk Meningkatkan Regulasi Emosi dan Self-Efficacy

Abstract


Kesehatan mental remaja, baik di Indonesia maupun global, semakin memprihatinkan, dengan prevalensi gangguan mental yang tinggi, seperti depresi. Pendekatan konseling sebaya terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental, membangun konsep diri, dan mengurangi perilaku berisiko. Namun, keberhasilan metode ini sangat bergantung pada pelatihan yang mampu meningkatkan self-efficacy dan regulasi emosi konselor sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy dan regulasi emosi pelatih konselor sebaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimental. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 orang mahasiswa fakultas psikologi yang mendaftar untuk program menjadi pelatih konselor sebaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan self-efficacy dari partisipan secara signifikan dan tidak berdampak signifikan pada regulasi emosi partisipan. Temuan dari penelitian ini dapat menekankan rangkaian pelatihan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelatih konselor sebaya yang efektif, khususnya untuk kalangan remaja. Dengan meningkatkan pelatih yang memiliki kemampuan tersebut, program konseling sebaya diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi kesehatan mental remaja.
